sorry for the long hiatus.
been super bz with work and traveling.

My dad visited me two weeks back and that was when i had my reading week.
reading week is a one week break where u're SUPPOSED to catch up with ur work and do some readings, thus the name READING week.

But as expected, we students abuse reading week.
I did no reading the entire week except for Thursday where i went to the library to borrow a book, which i read on that day during the train ride from Sheffield to London.
My dad came on Tuesday and we were 70% of the time out, looking for food. haha.
yes my dad and i are both 'eat to live' instead of 'live to eat' people.
the other 30% of the time is spent sleeping. what pigs. yes i know.

to be honest i feel damn self conscious about my weight d.
the whole 'OMG PEI XIA YOU PUT ON WEIGHT' and 'OMG PEI XIA UK ALOT OF FOOD HOR' and 'OMG PEIXIA WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU?' was quite saddening. :(

thing is.. its so hard not to eat here!
dad come visit confirm need to eat good food that you wont spend when you're alone right.
dad here mar i can order anything on the menu without worrying about the price.

when bf around lagi no help.
everything we eat is ALWAYS fattening.

okay. so anyway. i have an assignment due Monday and ive been bugging a few people about it.
Its for my Understanding Criminology module, which requires us to research on a criminologist and write a 6page essay on his contributions.
Sounds simple? no!
the criminologist is a sociologist and his theory is so sociology based!
i know nuts about sociology la and those whom i thought might have a clue about the labelling theory would be of help.
unfortunately nobody know who Howard Becker is. :( :(

Oh well. its Saturday night now and im hoping i can complete the essay by tonight. :)

its so cold in Sheffield.
I've been in London for the past two weeks and its so much warmer there.
i was there during my Reading Week, came back last Monday to attend classes,
then i went to London again on Tuesday after my classes. Wed-Fri i had no classes thats why. i dint skip ok!
yes the train station is officially my 2nd home.

i dunno why im so stupid also.
dah la complain cold right..
but i just took a big gulp of icy cold orange juice.
now im shivering and i have to stand nx to the heater for the nx 5 minutes.

hello im in London again. hahah. i know right london is like my 2nd UK home.

anyway
i wanted to blog about this london trip because something happened.
i lost my phone. BUT.. i found it back. lol.

As i was walking to the train station (actually walking to the cab la i was late d) i could feel my phone in my right coat pocket and i remembered myself thinking, eih if i got no phone also nvm la i got my other phone. (i have two phone, one is the Vodafone no. that you guys all know and the other is a pay as you go Orange no.)
So yeah, hopped in the cab and sat impatiently in the car, hoping that the meter runs slowly coz an extra one minute and it goes up 20p. haha.
so anway. reached train station, paid the driver and rushed to collect my train tickets.

Everything went okay. Found the train, sat comfortably and wanted to text Oz.
Mana tau cannot find phone. search seat, search floor, search pocket, search bag.. nada. :(

Wanted to get off the train d but the train started moving!!! -.-
ppl around started asking if i was alright and i kept saying 'i cant find my phone' and then they kept going 'but isnt it in ur hand' (referring to my other phone).
then i had to explain that i lost my OTHER phone.
then they say i can afford to lose one phone since i have two. WTF! hahha.

Somehow i had WanLin's no. in my other phone and i called her for SoonChin's no.
SoonChin checked the kitchen and all that my phone not there. so i thought, okay la nvm gone d lah.

Oh btw the lady nx to me on the train was a producer. lol.
theatre. she produces musicals and stuff. yengness.

I did msg my own no. and called it multiple times but no luck.
So i sadly ate my pasta and read my Medical law notes. SOBS
I got bored of my work and decided to call my no. again.
then guess what?
LO AND BEHOLD someone picked up!!!
it was the cab driver. i could recognise his voice!!
he was like, yes yes love you dropped ur phone in the cab. you will get it back dont worry love.
SO NICE RIGHT!!!!!!!!

i was like. thank you thank you thank you.
and i keep announcing to the ppl on the train also that the cab driver found my phone.
hahaha ppl surely think im some crazy asian girl who cant shut up about her phone. hahahaha.

I called soonchin and she was so nice as to call the cab driver and arrange where to pick up my phone.
coz obviously i couldnt meet him as i was already on the train to london.
so yeah. soonchin collected my phone for me the nx day and my phone is safe and sound.

YES. today i finally went to the GYM!!!

Started out my day with waking up at 9.45am and realising i was shit late as my class was at 10am.
Brushed my teeth, washed my face, wore my specs, put on my bra (yeah i know its unnecessary to include this but i like ah so), put on my coat (with my pjs still underneath) and rushed out to lecture.
I BRISK WALKED. and arrived at 10.05am.
Lucky thing lecturer just started and i quietly sat at the end of the row. Phew.
It was my Medical Law lecture and it was regarding cloning today so i dint wanna miss it!

After lecture i texted SoonChin as we planned to go to gym after my lecture, but haha that girl still sleeping.
So nvm i went home, and she was awake by then.
We decided to go Harmony for lunch but sobs it was packed.
We then decided on DimSum in WongTing.
Ordered damn alot and comforted myself coz i knew i was gonna burnt them ALL AWAY.

After lunch we went shopping. HAHA.
SoonChin returned her SwimmingSuit she bought from JJB coz she saw another one she liked better online.
Thats the best thing about UK, we can always refund anything as long as its untouched and we present the receipt.
I itchy went to Debenhams and bought a dress.
Its from Oasis and it was only 5pounds!! hahaha
It was originally 45pds and then discounted to 25pds, and then to 5pds.
I double checked with the cashier and she was like. oohh that is a good buy. haha.

After shopping, we walked to the gym.
Bloody hell i walk to the gym also i wanna die d.
hahaha. terrible right.

Reached the Opal2 Gym and wooo i likey.
I tried on various machines and i like the treadmill the best lah.
I dunno what u call the other machines lah.
Met Raychel and Joule there as well. And also another girl i dun remmeber her name. haha.

I burnt 301calories that 1.5 hours!! Not bad rightttt right right right??

hahaa sorry la 1st time in gym damn excited.

Im gonna go Gym every week now!
Every Wednesday 4-6pm. can one can one.

Why the sudden interest in Gym?
coz i got three months free membership lah. or not i not so tahan go gym 1..ahah.

So yeah. need to pack now.
going to London later.

Havent seen the boyflend for 2 weeks plus d.
wanna die d... haha.
